Hanifa goes above and beyond with a virtual fashion show

Recently my instagram feed got full fo these stunning videos of a 3D runway. The dresses all looked incredible and I was dying to find out more. The designer behind it all is Anifa Mvuemba who's brand Hanifa is all about "alluring, abstract and inclusivity". This was all Clearly shown in the videos as the invisible models were those with beautiful curves.

I feel like during this time its really hard for anyone to put out something creative yet alone an independent brand. Anifa has really utilised the gap in the market at this time and has used it to her full advantage. Maybe technology and fashion will become more hand in hand when all of this is over but she has really set the bar high. The show took place on instagram live and acted as a good place for people yo share their initials thoughts and feelings and of course everyone loved it. The collection was inspired by Anifas hometown in Africa and she made sure everyone knew how important this meant to her. The brand has also shined the light on the issues Congo is currently facing as she has released a 3d fashion shop tee where 20% of the proceeds go to supporting Congolese families against illegal Colton mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

I'm all here for a runway that embodies inclusivity but to go above and beyond and create a 3d runway girl you deserve all the success in the industry.
