I'm never usually someone to take interest in a shop layout but I'm so obsessed with the way Jacquemus does it I couldn't help myself but to tell you all about it. First of all let me explain the man behind it all, Simon Porte Jacquemus is a French fashion designer and founder of his label Jacquemus. His incredible French garments are simplicitic but unique. He's mainly known for his design the famous tiny bag that is seen on celebs constantly.

The first layout I wanted to talk about is his pop up at Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysees. Jacquemus partnered up with the creative director of the store Clara Cornet to create stunning visuals that allowed visitors to go on a journey. The layout was said to allow shoppers to feel like they're travelling from the south of France in a wheat field to a whitewashed house in Greece to a Mediterranean villa in Tenerife. Pictured above you can see the photographs of the wheat field which I think is such a good use of product and creates something really unique and fun.

Next is the incredible mist worthy cafe that he created. The cafe is called Cafe citron which is his favourite colour and was based in Champs Elysees. The interior looks like the Jacquemus brand threw up all over it from cute wooden tables to little lemon dishes the cafe is just all round adorable. I think this way is a really good way to attract customers as it gives them a more personal sense from the designer and help create these wonderful memories surrounding a Jacquemus piece.
Another one of my fave Jacquemus moments is his runway called "Le Coup de Soleil" which was for his 10th anniversary . Even though its not space in retail I think his idea behind why he did it could be used as inspiration anyway. The absolutely stunning runway was set in the lavender fields of the town called Valensole in the South of France, Jacquemus said he chose this place because he wanted it to look like a postcard and he also wanted to show his gratitude to his home town. The show had a small audience of only a list celebs and a string of editors to create an intimate environment. The hot pink runway matched beautifully with the vibrant lavender and made the whole setting look like a painting.
