I have always had a love for image collecting whether its from cutting out from magazines and scrap booking to Pinterest making. I have been able to develop these skills into mood boarding for various briefs and I want to share some of the mood boards I have made and show you the thought process behind them.

The image pictured above is a mood board I made inspired by my perception of the fragrance market. I didn't want to focus on a specific person or image for this but I wanted to create something that can be perceived in different ways. I had saved a picture from @subwayhands awhile ago and used it as a starting point of the mood board. I chose this particular image because even though its just three hands holding a subway pole theirs a lot of beauty behind it. I think the colours are stunning, the beiges mould so well together but the pop of the red diverts my eyes. From this I wanted to use these beige colours as a colour palette as I wanted to focus on the aspect of how the fragrance market can be very personal and very raw to you so I used a few skin tone colours to stimulate this feeling. I included two images of flowers as their is a lot of beauty behind fragrance and makes me think of being connected to the earth.

I created this mood board inspired by planet b. I knew I wanted to make it more about how the modern day social media views the environment so I took to instagram and looked at the likes of Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner and screenshot some of their posts. I found some really interesting posters about the earth day from the past but the graphics on it still had a fresh feel to it and would be something I would see scrolling through my feed. On the bottom right I found this image that was a part of a photoshoot for Versace and I found it really striking and interesting.

For my fragrance brief I had to create a customer profile but I love making these so much I think I went a bit over the top and created four, oopsie. What I enjoyed about these was that they were four different brands and were fun to create this lifestyle for them. I take a lot of time when it comes to creating a customer profile to research the brand thoroughly and look at who tags them or who has made a youtube video about them, from this I go on to create a Pinterest board and expand on from there.
