One of my biggest dreams was to spend a weekend in Paris, so I worked a hell of a lot and saved up and booked a Eurostar for the next weekend. Now most people book flights but I wanted the top experience so I went by the one and only Eurostar. Now my acquainted travelling partner wasn't to pleased about this because it meant we had to take a national express at 3am from birmigham to London which meant we got there at around 5am then just had to wait till 9am for the exciting Eurostar to wisk us off to my dreamland. Well I don't think Ive ever been so excited be on a train but the Eurostar experience is a whole different story when you go under the sea I think I was the only one on the train who was that excited at 9am.
I think I can safely say that Paris would never live up too my expectations. Arriving in Gare de Nord was surreal to me the archicature of the station was stunning and I wouldn't picture it anywhere other then Paris . My first time seeing the Eiffel Tower was on the drive from the station to the area we were stopping in called Champs Elysees and safe to say I wasn't expecting to be as overwhelmed as I was. I cried okay I cried at a tower but its not any tower its a piece of art placed in such a beautiful city that caused me to feel all these emotions when I saw it. If you thought I was strange for crying at the Eiffel Tower your gonna think I'm a lunatic for crying when I saw my air b n b. Pictured above you can see the film picture I took of my view from the balcony of our apartment. I found sense of serendipity when I was in Paris even though I have never been there before. Clearly overwhelmed by being in Paris I ended up sleeping till the evening. After recharging my energy I headed out on the streets for the first time and explored the area of Champs Elysees, I completely fell in love with the faces of the people walking the quaint streets. As I turned one corner I was faced with a the Eiffel Tower placed perfectly between the lit up shops and my breath was took as away. I inserted a photo below of what my view was but the picture doesn't capture how crisp and stunning all the colours were to me.

I spent my first official night in Paris by doing what anyone else would do, putting on your favourite corset and heels and going for a pizza sat next to the Eiffel Tower. I saw the Eiffel Tower sparkle for the first time that night as a cold breeze wrapped my body but my heart felt warm. Again I cried at this. I forgot to mention that me and my friend did the stupid thing and watched taken for the first time before we came to Paris, so we spent most of our trip doing paranoid stuff such as checking all cupboards and wardrobes for kidnappers as soon as we entered our apartment from being out, we also wouldn't enter the apartment block if we saw people waiting outside and the most stupid one was that we slept with a sharp kitchen knife next to the bed just in case of a mid night break in.
DAY 2:
Day 2 was spent visiting all the designer shops on the main shopping street on Champs Elysee. I say visiting because I had no intention on purchasing anything designer, unlike my best friend who decided to splash out on a £700 Balenciaga hoodie which I just could not justify. The good thing about her purchase was that it gave us some sort of level of respect from other shops for example when we walked into saint Laurent we decided to keep our shades on and act as if we were some sort of influencer which resulted in us having one of the workers follow us round the whole shop telling us about their recent collections. I lapped it up. We decided to get the full Parisian experience that night and cooked a homemade meal of pasta in our little French kitchen and headed out to the coolest night club in Paris.
DAY 3:
Day 3 was also our last day in Paris and we knew we wanted to see the Lourve with the limited amount of time we had so we rolled out of bed after a night of partying and said our final goodbyes to our dreamy apartment. On the rainy ride to the louvre I took the time to take in everything I could from the city from the rainy grey skies to the cobbled streets I wanted remember every aspect of this intriguing city. we didn't have time to go into the Louvre so we explored as much as we could of the outside while dragging two very full suitcases. The architecture of the louvre was awe inspiring I couldn't think of a more beautiful structure to hold such historical art. I left the louvre without turning back as I told myself I wouldn't be saying goodbye in hopes of returning as soon as I could. I spent the most of my Eurostar ride going through the many photos and created a small gallery of what I think best represents Paris to me which I uploaded down below.
