Reformation: the brand that is doing it right

Climate change is one of the things that is on my mind the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. Its something that we as a community need to join together and make a change because otherwise the beauty of our world will soon change. A brand that I have been following for years is reformation who have always been so outspoken about the environment and the issues that fashion causes to it.

Reformation is a clothing brand based in Los Angeles that practices carbon-neutral, green buildings , recycling and sustainable materials. Their products range from women's apparel, denim, wedding and shoes with a price range from £42 to £210. Reformation promises to produce garments that only use ethical and sustainable methods. Even the buildings where the apparel is made are inside green and LEED friendly buildings. What I love about this brand is that they let the buyer know how they are helping the environment by purchasing the garment. For example; their Isabel bodysuit is priced at £70 and the sustainability of it is:

This type of marketing is incredibly clever as it allows the buyer to know what they're doing to help and will make them want to to keep on purchasing.

I wasn't very educated originally to the dangers of the earth but reformation used their social media presence particularly well so that people like me could have more of an awareness of these issues and they make me want to get most of my clothes from their brands so I know im keeping the world a sustainable place.
