WHAT IM CURRENTLY WATCHING:IM WITH THE BAND, NASTY CHERRY

okay so I never watch Netflix series BUT I managed to watch the whole of the first season of the new series called 'I'm with he band, nasty cherry' within a whole hour safe to say I was hooked. The six episodes show you a band put together by the one and only pop princess Charli XCX and their journey towards becoming pop stars. The band are made up of four members Debbie on drums, Chloe on guitar, Georgie on bass and Gabi leading it all with being main vocalist. I don't wanna be one of those people and write a review where I just fill it with spoilers that make you see no point in watching it so I'm going to briefly in my eyes why you should watch it.

First of all: Charli XCX. What inspired me about this whole situation was the fact that even though she's running on her own schedule Charli took the time to help her best friend Emmie manage the band and be apart in the process of them becoming famous. Charli's perseverance towards the band is shown throughout the episode as she is always kept in the loop with the schedule of the band and plays a big role in landing them opportunities to get noticed. They often mention talk about female empowerment a lot in the series and how they want to be a girl band they wish they had to look uo to when they were younger. I feel like this show was overall really refreshing and raw to watch and I took a great amount of Inspiration from it. These four girls managed to achieve their childhood dreams by just putting there trust into each other and giving it their all. As if I couldn't find another reason to love these girls and their grind, Gabi and Georgia had no experience in a band and speant many weeks or for Georgia a whole year to learn the bass to be able to give their all in starting the band. I'm certainly now going to have a excuse for not wanting my dream career after watching these girls achieve the success with just the right motivation.
